Only registered migration agents (RMAs), legal practitioners and exempt persons can lawfully provide immigration assistance in Australia.
Migration agents must be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) in order to provide immigration assistance in Australia. This is a legal requirement under the Migration Act 1958.
If you are considering becoming an Australian RMA, you must understand both the requirements to become an RMA and your continuing obligations as an RMA.
Make sure you understand the steps to register as a migration agent before you apply. OMARA cannot refund your application fee.
