The Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) is the regulatory authority for Registered Migration Agents (RMAs) in Australia.
The OMARA is a branch within the Immigration Compliance Operations Division of the Department of Home Affairs (the department). The OMARA supports the department’s objectives in the immigration compliance framework.
The OMARA has a national presence. Officers operate in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.
A Senior Director leads OMARA. They report to the Assistant Commissioner, Immigration Compliance Operations Division.
