  • respond to any reasonable requests they make
  • provide information and documents when asked

What you must know

Your registered migration agent must give the Department of Home Affairs all the information needed to process your application.

The Department may refuse your application if you do not give all the information to your registered migration agent before their deadline.

When to contact your registered migration agent

Contact your registered migration agent during ​normal business hours with the contact details they provide you.

Registered migration agents do not have to be available to you outside of normal business hours (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday in Australia).
