Policy and procedures

The Policy and Procedures Manual (PPM) for the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority has been superseded by a new Procedural Instruction titled 'Working with the migration advice industry', published on 12 May 2017.  This document provides instruction to staff making decisions under Part 3 of the Migration Act 1958 on:

  • registering migration agents
  • handling complaints made about migration agents (including application of sanctions)
  • Continuing Professional Development activities.

The new Procedural Instruction is available on LEGENDcom and LexisNexis.  The PPM and former Procedures Advice Manual 'Dealing with migration agents' are now obsolete.
